You may keep the castle for a whole day or for only a few hours but the price will remain same. Normal hire days end at 7pm, depending on the time of year I. E light permitting but a castle can be kept until 10pm for additional charge no overnight due to past experiences (see next FAQ). The latest that we allow castles out until is 10pm and additional charges will apply after 7pm. The additional charge is £10 per hour (or part) between 8 and 10pm. Also, we do not allow castles to be used outdoors after dusk unless in a well lit area for both safety reasons and so that we can see to pack them away! (e.g. If you want a castle picked up at 9:30pm the additional charge will be £10 + £10 = £20). No Overnight, We reserve the right to cancel if we feel that the venue is not adequate, or has not been described adequately. How much is the booking deposit and do I get it back if I cancel? We only charge a booking fee on the Ark as wee have to put aside a day for the hire of this. You may cancel at any point up to 7 days before the event and receive a full refund. After that no refund will be given as it will take a week to get bookings in to cover the date also bookings will have been canceled for that date.
